@Jonoabroad morning coffee in bed, with the dog and the wife. She's reading, I'm catching up on Fosstodon. This is what Saturday mornings were made for. 😊

Also, I see MotoGP in your profile. Do you ride?

@ConnyDuck oh man, I didn't realise there was no API for it. That's a shame. :(

That will explain why there are no apps out there for this kind of thing then.

@ConnyDuck question - hoe difficult would it be to create a "Tusky Admin" app, that allows admins and mods to do things like process reports, manage users etc.?

If it's possible, what kind of funding would that require?

Well that didn't take long! The community rallied round and I got a fix withing 15 minutes! Goddam, I love open source!

Thanks to everyone who commented, but especially to @steve who ultimately provided the solution I needed.

About to go to bed now, but will update the forum thread in the morning.

@steve yep. No issues with anything but this wifi card, and it's absolutely fine in Win10.

Hi guys, So I have an USB wi-fi card connected to my machine. It's a TP-Link Archer T4UH AKA the AC1200. Which is compatible with Linux by all accounts. I've connected it to my machine, and I've installed the additional drivers (R8812AU) and all is working well...occasionally. You see, I regularly boot my machine up and there is zero activity going to the card - even the status light isn't working. Then, seeming randomly, it decided to work after a couple of reboots. I've tried multiple US...

@robert glad you're enjoying it here. Remember, it's not about quantity, it's quality that's important. :-)

We wrote a post about why we decided to go English only on Fosstodon. If you're interested in a long-form explaination as to why we did it, check out this post:

@BO41 @n00bcakes @mike it would be a very short article, as we made a conscious decision at the start to go with @mastohost for our hosting, so that we can enjoy/moderate the community without having to worry about managing servers.

I think this is partly why Fosstodon is doing so well, as we technically have a larger team than many instances; so Mike and and I can focus on the community, whilst Hugo from Masto.host does all the clever techy stuff.

@RyuKurisu yeah, 2FA and MFA are interchangeable - I may add a note to say that more than 2 can be used - doos point actually.

Not tried Bitwarden self-hosted, so couldn't say. I believe all data is encrypted at rest on the server though, and only decrypted on the client, so I doubt it's possible.

@wdavery @tdemin but even if bitwarden were compromised, all they would get is a highly encrypted file.

Obviously there are always other vectors, however.
