Anyone can vote as you just need to put a mark on a piece of paper, so the barrier to entry is very low.

That's not the same for coding - I'd be willing to bet that the vast majority of Masto users wouldn't know where to start with it's source code. I know I wouldn't.

I think the most plugins I've ever installed on a WordPress site is like 6. I thought that was loads until I started writing for a couple of their sites that had like 30+. No wonder they were slower than a drunk sloth going uphill.

@mooshoe if you would rather donate (that's very kind, by the way, thank you) we have patreon and PayPal. We don't have LibrePay as we don't want payments to be fragmented too much, and most people are on those 2 platforms.

@mooshoe any proceeds will always go in to Fosstodon. Once hosting costs are met, we intend to donate the leftover to other projects.

QUESTION:

We're considering *MAYBE* doing a #Teespring campaign. It wouldn't be "Fosstodon" but something funny and FOSS based...maybe even multiple designs.

Would any of you guys be interested if we did one?

@ScottMortimer I moved from LP to bitwarden a while back. Whilst I do have some security concerns, they weren't enough to dissuade me from the tool.
