@Matter @stevenroose @fosstodon @mastohost yep, we’re with Masto. It was a deliberate decision very early on as we wanted to enjoy the community. If you’re looking for a host, I can’t recommend them more highly. Seriously, if they started doing traditional hosting tomorrow, I’d move everything to them.

@brodriguesco I’ve considered that actually, but I think the learning curve would frustrate me as I’m a creature of habit usually.

@mooshoe basically yeah. SSO will offload the authentication to something like a RADIUS server, then pass the result back to the app.

@pranav @cooper @mike I’ve considered a pihole a few times; I even have a spare 3B+ hanging around. However, I’m reluctant to rely on a Rpi for DNS on my entire network.
