@progo@GluedToTheScreen@brychan@adam something about running a business or making a business and incentivising minorities to.. do something... or something i don't even remember. i feel like the questioner wasn't looking for an answer.
@progo@GluedToTheScreen@brychan@adam yeah i recall trying to helpfully, and pragmatically i guess, answer the question and it just pissed off the person more.
@ChrisWilson@GluedToTheScreen well i won't pretend to circle jerk about it much, but it just seems natural enough. everybody is for walls and borders, they just want to be the ones to define what and where... and who.
stripe dropped bitchute claiming pressure from financial partners.
since stripe facilitates payments to and from banks, credit cards, whatever ... who else is getting pressure from such financial partners? if at all. thoughts? @adam
stripe claims they dropped bitchute because: "A restriction placed upon us by a financial partner"
are other sillycon valley companies being manipulated in the same way, or is this an excuse? i'm not too keen on every aspect of business operation. since stripe facilitates moving money, does financial partner = banks and credit card companies? thoughts? @adam
@jeremiah@progo@xahlee@Economic_Hitman i get lost in all the licensing and versions of java. what the heck was openjdk based off of? was it a reverse engineer job? and there's other VMs and such out there... but again java is a mess.
