@brandon Heh, if you're going to do that, I'd recommend Console mode in @tom79. Also, @codesections pretty much uses Fosstodon from vi, so there's that option too.

@murtezayesil Sorry, I've got nothing. My profile picture was made by hand by one of our members. I don't remember his Fosstodon address, but I've still got the email. I have no idea how you'd generate something similar.

@tuxdevices That's another thing! Anybody, turn on your camera with Cheese or something. What exactly are they going to see even if there was something to see?

@ktux My favorite part is if you look at the "code" of the email, there's an Unsubscribe link in there. It doesn't show up in the rest of the email, but it's still there.

Wow, it's been a year already! The domain renewal for https://brutaldon.online/ is coming up, and while the monthly maintenance costs are so low that I hardly notice them, the domain renewal is just enough that I am aware that it is a thing. If anyone would like to throw a few dollars at the #brutaldon Ko-fi to help pay for it, I'd be grateful.

@ndegruchy I always get them on my fosstodon.org email address (at least that's the place I've checked my spam folder to see what was in there). That address is literally not configured on any computer with a desktop client. I only go through the web for it. It's not associated with any social media except for Fosstodon, and the contacts associated with it is empty as far as the email account is concerned. Super not intimidating.

@skunksarebetter It's the most configurable browser I've ever tried. I used to use Chrome until Google's insinuation of themselves into all aspects of my life started to bother me. Vivaldi is just as compatible and uses Chrome plugins. It's history is beyond anything else I've seen. You can change your themes based on time of day. There's just so many things I really like about it.

This is an excellent testimonial to FOSS systems. Regardless of your thoughts on the quality of the product, people bought these things for $900 American. Now, the company is gone and the servers are being shut down. This formerly $900 device is useless for anything other than parts.
