@Pasty They should federate but not everyone (including me) is on the new version yet. Also, the emojos don't collide so your :spicy_meme: isn't my :spicy_meme: even though they display correctly. (You can't post other instances' emojos.)

This is all afaik, I don't actually know anything for sure.
