@kurisu I switched to it quite some time ago. It's really good these days. There are some annoying issues that has been around for a while, but for the most part it's a better experience than Tusky.

I really want to see a superhero movie or comic where apart from some specific deviations from the laws of physics, everything else is accurate.Has anything like that ever been made?

@garbados @ben I've always found it interesting how so many people in the US tend to vote against their own best interests. I've hear arguments that the propaganda is really strong there, but that can't really be the whole story?

@garbados @ben So the problem is two-fold? One is that the they are toothless, and the other one is that even if it wasn't toothless, their decisions fly in the face of labour protection?
Seems like they need to be replaced altogether. But that's not something that seems likely in the current US political climate.

@garbados @ben If I understand your comment correctly, then the fact that it's toothless is actually a good thing in this case, yes?

The text is almost impossible to read. I didn't even see there was any text at first. I'm wondering if the colour balance is off on the machine where it was generated.

Wow. Then perhaps I will be able to use it. Every time I tried, I was unable to read anything that was said there because of the absolutely awful visual design. -

I haven't heard much about blockchains recently. I thought the hype train had left already. -

@ben @brainblasted A billion has been so normalised these days, that when someone pays a few billion for a company with no profit and barely a functioning product, no one seems to care.
At the same time, a few million to government fix some problem that will help thousands of people (like clean water) is considered too expensive.

@cwebber @lain Do you know if there is any community around this in Asia? I'm in Singapore, and I have to admit that I don't see much happening here in this field.

Omg it is SO REFRESHING to see language designers acknowledging that REPLs exist and that yes, indentation-sensitivity FAILS HARD IN A FIRE in a REPL

Looks like it's a knockoff of that popular brand of salted egg yolk crisps they sell at some places (like that stall att Suntec)

I recently discovered a really unexpected Qt dependency. If you want antialiased lines in Gnuplot you need to link with Qt. Very annoying.

Why do you want to limit the download speed though? Once your Internet connection is fast enough, there is really no way you can saturate it with a single server
