web sites should be designed like video games
- good framerate
- low loading times
- coherent level design
- paced stopping points
Instead they're designed like lootboxes.

If your #opensource project uses something like "curl/wget <URL> | sudo bash" to perform the #installation, consider fixing this. Tim Serong explains why this is a very bad idea and how it can be fixed : https://tserong.github.io/sudo-wget/

@rho I used an ErgoDox EZ for two years, and would it not be for the Keyboardio Model 01, I'd still use it. It's a fantastic keyboard, highly recommended. It sold me on the split ergonomic design, and I can never go back to traditional (don't want to, either).
It was reasonably easy to get used to it (but I made it harder by switching to Dvorak at the same time), a couple of weeks. I spent _years_ customizing my layout, but I'm an outlier.
Happy to answer any questions you may have, too!
action shot!
then I got the display installed but the bracket isn't that strong, might need to cut a thicker one.
also there's not really a battery but I think I got that part figured out
It's both a sweet feeling, and also terrifying, because what if someone tries to _use_ that layout?
That feeling when you're casually browsing Twitter, and you come across a screenshot of your keyboard layout.
Scene: At night, while putting the kids to bed. Daughter doesn't want to sleep.
Wife: I'm tired.
Daughter: I'm Lily.
She's not even two, but already making #DadJokes. I'm proud of our #parenting.
@MutoShack Discourse can more or less do just that, I think. You still need to register with your email, but you can subscribe to topics, receive e-mail on new posts, and reply via e-mail. So past registration, topics function mostly like a mailing list.

@tcit That's SuSE with a redhat...

@strypey Blind Fury & Lady Hawk were two films we watched countless times as a kid.
@kerenon Nem mediamarktban vettem :)
A random tabletre felrakott app az biztosan szar lesz, mediamarktban tobbnyire olyanokat lattam legutobb. :P
Garmin celeszkoz, kivaloan mukodik. Waze meg fos :P
@kerenon Wazeval rettento rossz tapasztalataink voltak.
In other news, I lost 4kgs (only 20 more to go!), and became a lot stronger: all that carrying the stroller up and down the stairs, usually packed to the brim sure makes wonders.
How do I know I got stronger? We had a family meeting last month, with my brother, my sister and their kids all present. On an impulse, I challenged my brother for arm wrestling. And I won. This is surprising because he won with ease ever since he was 16.
Getting into shape just received a huge motivation boost.
Mr. 23mo continues being a surprisingly strong little man. The other day he decided that their feeding chair will make a good pommel horse, and presented us a routine: he pushed himself up on the arms of the chair, started to swing back and forth, giggling like it took no effort.
He can also do pushups. He saw me do some _once_, and two days later I caught him trying to imitate. So I showed him how to do it, and here we are, he's doing pushups.
#parenting is beautiful.
It's been a while I posted any #parenting toots, so here's a short update: Miss 23mo is so much like her Mom, it's incredible. Can't stop talking. She's forming 3-4 word perfectly legit sentences. If she's in a talking mood, she'll also babble in their own language, with Hungarian words sprinkled in.
They have their own language. We've seen them... conspiring a number of times. It's so fun watching them do that. It's less fun when they act out their conspiracy. :P
