OTOH, a change in copyright laws that extends copyright terms on existing works is, in essence, a "taking" from the public's interest in the future public domain works that have been removed from that future public domain.

If only there were a way to structure a class action suit with proper standing...

@djsundog We had a visitor to our space recently who had launched a hackerspace run out of a van.

He'd sold off the vehicle and other assets of that mobile space after committing to a new makerspace, only for the management of said new space to declare bankruptcy a few days later.
