@Shrigglepuss @alexl Fedora is my favourite. It is definitely one of the most stable and refined distributions. It also has an outstanding KDE desktop implementation (that's the desktop I run on it).
@alexl Wait until Tuesday, Fedora 30 is released then =) It's nice if you want a Gnome desktop without a ton of customisations made to it that's good for just getting stuff done

Yet, there is no substitute for professional expertise. Without that, the risk of misdiagnosis is high. Incorrect diagnosis could lead to poor outcomes & quality of life, inability to get appropriate treatment, harm & suffering to patients.
Still, it's not for others to judge or tell people their experiences are invalid.
