Logging off for the last time now. Leaving the server up for a couple hours so everything can federate before I finally actually pull the plug. !fediverse !gnusocial !postactiv http://u.daggsy.com/1Pf

I'm also pretty sad about putting this instance out to pasture after I've spent so much time on it. Some of my code did end up in !postactiv, so it's not lost. I also have a bunch of stuff on gitgud.io, which I'll link to it the landing page that'll replace this instance. !gnusocial

I'll never forget the time I've spent with all of you. The multiple waves of users in early 2016, the rise and fall of the early instances such as GNUtan, Pleroma's inception, the rise of Mastodon, GSCon, and everything else.

Okay folks, it's been fun, but I think it's time to say goodbye. This instance will be going offline on June 1, 2018.
The main reason is because the Markov bots have been playing poorly with Pleroma notices, as they always have been with Mastodon notices, and I don't want to put time into fixing them. Without the bots, there's no reason to keep this instance going.

@moonman I don't see it in the !postActiv source tree. @maiyannah

I think I'm going to leave StoreRemoteMedia off here. It quickly spirals out of control. @daggsy !gnusocial !postactiv

@lain Does !Pleroma have a built-in preamp?

It wouldn't be that hard, either. https://hastebin.com/raw/irubamumob !gnusocial !postactiv

You know what would be a great idea? A media browser for !gnusocial / !postactiv .
I know I have GSbooru, but I mean something simpler that could be implemented as a plugin.

@rohan I live next door to a Taiwanese tea shop, and a few blocks away from a cafe that only does tea (including selling the leaves), so I always have a huge supply of it at home.
I've been largely drinking it as "refrigerator !tea " when at home, though, as I can't handle the caffeine of the proper hot stuff in the afternoon. I do drink hot tea at work, though, and have a fancy electric tea kettle on my desk.
