@codl xcom actually is special cased so when you have a percentage < 100% it never hits, whereas when an enemy has a percentage > 0% it always hits, and critically

@eevee I mean part 1 is kind of obvious, like, the way web twitter works and looks. part 2 I don't know about. quoted tweets kind of are that but I can't think of MUCH more

@eevee I've seen somebody put forth the idea (wrt twitter shutting down their official mac client) that twitter needs your attention because it needs to show you ads so:

1) anything that doesn't make you want to refresh, refresh, refresh, is not a priority

2) negative stuff and arguments work great for keeping your attention so, not even necessarily on purpose, twitter is designed to encourage that kind of stuff
