Hey Mastodon, I got asked the other day "why should I care about Emacs in 2019?" (The implication was that Atom and VSCode were basically the new bettrr versions of a hackable extensible editor)
Off the top of my head, I came up with dired, org-mode, GPLv3, but looking for more. So why *should* somebody care about Emacs in 2019?

Second of all, you are so right. Why why why not orgmode??? It's such an obvious and easy option. I guess I'll hunt down he repo and file a feature request..

Some features in Krita are like really underrated. For example transform mask, I don't know if any other application has it. What this feature gives you, is the ability to copy the exact transformation like a filter to another layer

@ohyran Playing devil's advocate here, but I assume they have to evolve their brand. They can't have a dark window decoration forever, so maybe this is them trying to "feel" out their brand. The overall "Unity" look is still there, so maybe they're clinging to that (and orange) as their new focus.

@unklebonehead @FiftyOneFifty I have no information and no real way to confirm beyond what I've heard from others. I woke up this morning half expecting 5150 to have replied to my post, telling me there'd been a mistake. Oh well.
