Never minded them.

I know a lot of trans people hate them and consider them caricatures of trans people, or a relic of a bygone age where it wasn't okay to be trans.

The thing was, it was never okay to be a drag queen in those eras, either.

And it's wrong to think of them as caricatures. They're guys who like women's clothing.

And you know what? That's cool. It's a manifestation of their identity.

The world doesn't need more fights over identity.

I work in technology and I think that humanity needs to remember that at the end of the day technology is only as good as our social constructs.

Technology should work to serve nobler goals, not serve hedonism or temporary greed.

Advancement for advancement's sake is not noble without purpose.

We must build things that last. All things crumble to dust eventually, but the legacy it leaves should aim to be positive.

A lot of technology I see being made seems to do far more harm than good.

imo thinking about a new economic system requires rethinking about how goods are produced, the management of the way things are produced, how demand and supply mesh, the management of inherently scarce resources like radio spectrum and land, resolutions to scarcity when possible, how it interlocks with politics, prioritisation, etc. Communism and Capitalism present their own answers to each of these and the space in between but I think there can be other ways.
