If you think users aren't gonna click yes, instead of forcing it on them ask yourself why they would say no to what you're doing. If you have no reason to be collecting data, DONT DO IT.

btw, anyone have tips for reverse engineering usb devices? I've got a wireless headset (2.4GHz dongle) that I want to be able to receive button presses from, but the software is windows only. I'm setting up a windows VM to work with the software so I can snoop packets from the Linux host, but I have no experience with these things, so any help would be appreciated.
