@tomasino If your command line app depends on lots of external dependencies and is very fussy about the precise versions of those dependencies and those dependencies are hard for people to install themselves (e.g. requires compilation), then using virtualenv for distribution might make some sense, but I would consider it a last resort. IMHO the above conditions make software uninteresting and gross.

If this is only a fallback, I assume you can still set your primary DNS servers by editing /etc/resolv.conf, as God intended. This is all I have ever done.

Head to https://servers.opennic.org/ and find some servers close by to you with logging policies you agree with and put them in resolv.conf, that should be all it takes. @Famicoman runs one in the Netherlands!

@pkotrcka February is the coldest month of the year, on average! But the transitionto spring is pretty rapid, so maybe March.

@pkotrcka It's pretty dark in November! I've been told that is the peak month for suicides and divorces in Finland , because everybody is depressed due to the weather. 🙁
