You can donate your body to science, but can I donate mine to science fiction?

@purplehippo @postmesmeric Chances are if you're a woman on a dating site, you're from a small town, you are the village bicycle, you have something deeply wrong with you health-wise, or you are a serial killer.
The last bit isn't a joke, there was a female serial killer in Vermont of all places that was finding male victims on dating sites.

Handling connections in a little more sane a fashion. I'm actually a little surprised we haven't had problems with the way it was going before.
-
Made some configuration changes to how MySQL operates that should give us some probably significant performance gains. Not that we've had problems thusfar.

I find it very difficult these days to write something worth reading unless I have things to distract me from the pain like a game I can kind of autopilot while I do that or a podcast or something on youtube. Without something to keep my mind off the pain it is hard to do just about anything without the meds I no longer have access to. So thanks for that provincial govt.

Or the internet could disintegrate because of a storm and I'll just curl up in bed I guess.

Probably going to get the review done tonight and then do the graphics and postingness tomorrow, assuming I don't lock up or pass out before then.

Man I've gone on about the ""cosplay"" where people want to get their boobs out and use that as an excuse, but seriously Imgur, *this* is "untagged mature content* you're threatening to throw people off the platform for?
You guys literally have racier in your reaction gif library. https://community.highlandarrow.com/attachment/555346

@bob @shamar @amz3 @rain Yeah, why should I have control over how my ideas are presented?
-
@bob I can call myself an apache attack helicopter, it does not make me in fact an apache attack helicopter.
-
@bob These people are only considered 'centrists' because of how extreme either 'wing' has become these days.

Reminder that W3C put DRM in your browser and anything from them should be neither supported nor trusted.

@camoceltic What's happening is Pulseaudio is a piece of crap.
-
@ninjawedding bluetooth doesn't really have a concept of suspending things so bluetooth drivers have adopted really weird ways of trying to maintain the connection.
-
@mikael Ive considered switching in the past, but its a lot of work to do so for not an awful lot of benefit I'd actually use.

In related news, I am probably going to moosh the two servers I have (right now for HLA and postActiv) into a single more powerful dedicated server. Talking with the DC about options.
Having the two is simply not financially feasible for me right now unless I suddenly get a bunch more subscribers or something.
I'll be trying to keep the same amount of IP space and just have them as VMs on another ESXi host, for what its worth. Disruption should be minimal unless migration fails in a particularly spectacular way.

Still waiting on cert issuance for the xmpp, yey

When I post a claim backed up with links and references and someone else responds with just "no, you're wrong", I think they basically have just confessed they don't have an actual argument.
