um, I guess I forgot the link last time... http://bit.ly/2JJr4hL

Pretty sure I know some people that qualify for this. This is interesting: "Proficient with a wide variety of Operating Systems: Windows, Mac, FreeBSD, Linux, Solaris, HPUX."

Really not sure how much #Solaris and #HPUX we have around here, but certainly we supported Solaris in the past. Our #FreeBSD support is in the past as well, but I figure that's not as obscure as the other two. I'm sure I can get details on that sort of stuff if you are interested.

#Mexican food is my favorite, but there's so little of it I can eat without guilt now with my GERD...of course that's pretty much true of every cuisine.

I have to say though, the Impossible Burger is one of the greatest things ever.

    Crestfallen
    Two souls became one
    A vestige of serenity
    Grasping your cross
    Reaching out
    With your final breath
    A life departed
    Frozen and still

    In this silence, I know
That you have found your peace
    The embrace of falling snow
I brush the tears from your face
    I no longer remember
When the world didn’t feel so cold
I lift my arms for the sky
    And await this coming storm

    Empyreal flames
    Of my own creation
    I will wait forever
    For my salvation
    Before I surrender
    My faith unto you
    You who has taken
    Everything from me

    Winter descends
    Like ashes from the divine
    Breathe in the fire
    Let it swallow you whole
    Close your eyes
I know I have failed you
    Child of light
    Go now, your heaven awaits

    Empyreal flames
    Of my own creation
    I will wait forever
    For my salvation

    Before I surrender
    My faith unto you
    You who has taken
    Everything

I haven't posted anything from https://www.perforce.com/careers in a while because I haven't gotten much feedback about the posts. We have 10 (or 12 depending on how you could) positions: 3 in England (it says UK, but they are basically in London), 5 in Minneapolis, and 2 in what is essentially Oakland, CA. Most of them are technical positions, but we do have 3 entry level sales positions: https://www.perforce.com/careers/open-jobs?gnk=job&gni=8a7883a861976b8501619a0d66e34efd (this is where you get the 2 extras), and a Payroll Analyst position. A bachelor's degree is required for the entry level experience, but it's truly entry level: no experience required. Let me know if you have any questions about the positions. None of them are on my team, but I can find out details, and of course tell you what I know about the company.

We do have a fair amount of BSD-licensed stuff, and we do have git tooling. There's definitely a lot of proprietary stuff though.

@craigmaloney it's interesting that so many people have picked Broken Hymns as their favorite track on https://hypnoticdirgerecords.bandcamp.com/album/iris -- The first four minutes seem to drone on forever. It's the only place I can identify as a weakness on the album.

As somewhat of an aside, something must be going on with my Last.fm scrobbling on my home laptop, because there's no way I've only listened to Altars of Grief 16 times...maybe 16 times all the way through Iris, but even that seems low.

But anyway, it has taken many times through the album before I even identified that spot as a weakness.

Cake's The Distance features essentially rapped vocals, and stands out from the rest of their catelog in that way. Much of their other work features horns extensively, and has, as edythemighty put it "some of the best bass lines"

I guess, you can think of them somewhat like if Primus was a pop band. They are quirky like that.

It's a very Christian song, but if you just change Lord to Teacher, it could easily be a Buddhist song.
