"Part of the solution to that was to open source the command line client" -- occasionally, people do things that make sense.

I suspect he means that a repo has that many files in it, although that's clearly not what he said. I should clarify. Maybe that's a clue.

"It seems to happen with folders that return around 400,000 files. Less than that seems to be handled consistently" Any thoughts from Windows people on this?

2016 and 10 work properly. 2012 R2 DataCenter has the issue.

Returning We Hear the Larks - Ypres | Jamendo Music - Free music downloads
      from Jamendo Music
As you may know, this is my first official full-length (Scattered Fragments doesn't count, it's just a compilation) and it's been a looong time coming. This album became a concept in February 2009, when I first stepped foot on Belgian soil and became rather obsessed with the First World War. Spending a week in Ypres, a town bursting with a history of pain and struggle, was probably the most life-changing experience of my 18 years here. Nothing has ever moved me quite so much as standing among the graves of countless heroes, men with families and lives ahead of them, who gave it all for their countries and were buried nameless. I can recall hearing nothing and feeling the most overwhelming sense of loneliness and despair. I had to hold back tears in a few graveyards, I must have looked quite the fool :P Ypres is to thank for this album. It moved to an extent that I scrapped my last project, Sins of the Watchmen, to focus on something far more meaningful and important. I hoped that with this project, I could create something that would make you think. It is for this reason that my music is rather repeatative and long. I don't want you to sit there and focus on it, I want you to space out and consider life, the universe, or maybe even the Great War. So now that that's out of the way, I want to give huge love to my Greek brother Jason Karavokiris, for designing all of the beautiful artwork for this album. Make sure you take the time to marvel at all of the pieces included in this download. And if you feel like giving him some much-deserved appreciation, head on over to www.behance.net/JasonKaravokiris and check out his incredible gallery.creditsreleased 07 September 2010 Composed, recorded and mixed by Jak Noble between February 2009 - September 2010. Artwork by Jason Karavokiris (www.behance.net/JasonKaravokiris) Inspired by the town of Ypres and the Great War. Dedicated to the memory of thousands of heroes who died for us.

Population #s are going to be way off if you move LA...of course you can move other things. It seems like the more variables you introduce, the less likely to happen, so maybe two is the way forward.

I still have !nagios tagged on the personal site because that's what I know. I'm not sure I've ever seen an icinga install. I suppose I should correct at least that last portion.

Interesting class discussion of the differences between members of different generations in the workforce. I think most important thing wasn't heard: these are stereotypes that are going to be at least partly wrong for any specific individual
