I'm not sure what you man with new albums in the running. There's a month between when nominees are due at the date range. You think there should be a bigger gap?

the argument against doing just 2017 is that it's a long way from netlabel day.
On June 27, I did mention in slack making the dates Jan 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018, but no one responded, so we just left it as was.

well, the problem is the decision to tie it to netlabel day. Maybe next year we tie it to the Grammy's? I don't like the dates either, but Mike says he needs that long. Maybe next year someone can help him with the site? Just something to think about. We aren't likely to make any decisions until at least close to netlabel day, but probably not until after.

@craigmaloney I think we've both pretty much agreed on the long one being at least a nominee. I can't ever remember the name of it. I'm pretty sure it was on Hypnotic Dirge though.

@craigmaloney I have three albums I think I'd like in the final list: https://theunwrittensp.bandcamp.com/releases, the #retrowave one by Abstract Void, and the 2-hour masterpiece. Any vetos on that list? The one by Unwritten could be better produced/recorded. I don't think it's a winner. I could be easily persuaded to drop it, but I do quite love that version of progressive metal.

I usually don't like intense espresso, but we have one here that is Mexican, so I'm giving it a shot. I tend to like lungos. I've never been an espresso drinker. What is it about the lungos I like? Is it really just more, or is there something else to it? !coffee
