I've never been a twitter used, I'm not on Mastodon, but I can read you just fine from GNU social, where the Fediverse started. I don't like much the notion of promoting one specific implementation of Fediverse protocols, it sort of defeats the point of interoperability, that enables each individual to choose not just an instance of the same program, but the software and the interface that best suits them -

I really like her, and I wish her call is heeded
but didn't that already happen early last year?
humor aside, no, it hasn't. some 5% of the population becoming unable to breathe because of a virus sucks rocks, but some appear to be determined to make sure that 100% of us become unable to breathe, drink, or eat.
more power to her! -

the colorful one has the wings more clearly recognizable, and I find it prettier, though the eyes are harder to figure out in it
I wonder if combining features from both could make both wings and eyes clearest. like, using slightly narrower versions of the monochrome eyes as feathers, but keeping the overarching wing structure from the colored one?
I find the top pair of wings disturbingly aimless in their flapping. it feels like they should somehow be moving up and down rather than in sideways movements that cancel out each other -

GNU Linux-libre 5.15 is now available in my APT repository: https://jxself.org/linux-libre/
It may take some time for the mirrors to sync though. -

it's like 'to' stands for Tech Outcast or something -

yeah, bolsominions tend to believe that anyone who disagrees with them is left-wing. and, from their perspective, they're sort of right, very far right. so far right that anything else is far left, even traditional right-wing politics and the part of the big media who's not in bed with him -

I don't see a flatpak command to download corresponding sources, just to download and install binaries. that is enough to suggest a user freedom-hostile environment to me, in which binaries are king and sources are second-class citizens. even if this improved in newer versions (the flatpak manual I looked at is very old), it doesn't bode well that obtaining sources was a late addition, if it's there at all.
how about snaps, do they offer any such feature to place sources at least at the same level of relevance as binaries? -
