    So i'd love followed tags to be federated across pods in the federation network. We do have the relay feature for that but I'm not really satisfied with it. So I opened https://github.com/diaspora/diaspora_federation/issues/103 with a protocol change suggestion.

    I'd love to know how #mastodon deals with that subject, are tags federated? If yes, how does that work? @Gargron
