@Vann i think if you @ someone and there is a custom emoji in your toot it will cause some issue because something is broken with custom emoji code right now, or at least it was as of yesterday, i haven't updated yet today

@cute_weeds school was closed for days, maybe a week? there was an inch or more of ice everywhere. lots of people had power out for quite a while but luckily we did not

the trees got fucked up real bad. you could hear them creaking and groaning and branches breaking off even from inside the house

it was soooooooooo pretty though...

@cute_weeds mm, had the ice storm then which i remember with some fondness but i'm sure there's plenty of not so fond memories of it too

@MightyPork mmm no, the reliability of deletion has never been perfect unfortunately. at the time of the big delete on ephemeral i think there were at most a couple hundred local statuses, so 🤷 basically
