@DaDenMan I often wonder who the racists really are... Making the assumption that minority equals having no ID, how did you come to that conclusion? Because they're too stupid? Too poor? Jobless and homeless?
Either you're the racists, holding such views, or it's because of shenanigans with fake voters. I can't see any other reason...
As evidence for him being a good storyteller, I mentioned things like "having an easy to understand message, staying consistent, targeting a specific audience, keeping his message short".
Comedy gold, seeing the trainer then having to defend Trump and say something nice about him and acknowledging his skills.
Though he later on referred to Trump as "that orange freak", I still appreciated he went along with it though. (2/2)
Today I participated in a training about Storytelling and Influencing at my work. While I'm located in China, the trainer was an American guy.
One of the first exercises was to pick one famous storyteller and identify why they were successful. After each participant shared their thoughts, the trainer would do a "yes, and" and add some support himself.

"All we can say is that for some unknown reason he began walking from point A to his destination at point B," Coffay said. "He chose to walk the tracks and in the process fell into the water, causing him to drown."
Heard about this on the last Sam Harris podcast: The Coddling of the American Mind: How Good Intentions and Bad Ideas Are Setting up a Generation for Failure
Probably due to the FOCAC conference here in Beijing, they have stepped up security around the embassy district. Now for the first time in seeing some police K9 units patrolling.
First day it was with Germany Shepard's. Makes sense. Second day they added a Rottweiler. Okay, still reasonable. Third day, they added a Border Collie (like the attachment). Uhm, what?! Looked like a one year old too. But complete with the K9 harness and all.
@adam Re: Millennials with fidget spinners, putty, kinetic sand and eye contact avoidance: disgusting! This is clearly Autism appropriation!
Source: both me and my young daughter have Asperger's. I've heard so many stories of neurotypical kids playing with these in school and getting them banned from the classroom, while they are essential for kids with Autism in order to get through the day with their sanity intact.
