Sending a SMS with a code, IF AND ONLY IF Google’s systems believe that a log-in attempt is suspicious, blocks 100% of automated bots, 96% of bulk phishing attacks and even 76% of targeted attacks

Eigentlich meide ich ja die Trendseite auf YouTube wie der Teufel das Weihwasser, aber zu sehen wie ein Kanal über das Leben mit dem Tourrette Syndrom viral geht ist schon besonders und schön

Ich muss sagen dass ich durch diese Videos schon einiges über diese Krankheit und den Umgang damit gelernt habe

Die humorvolle und offene Art der Protagonisten hilft natürlich auch das Thema einem größeren Publikum näher zu bringen

A few days ago I received an e-mail from a payment service provider which was very hard to read on a mobile device because the font was really small

After alerting them about this they’ve now told me that it’s too difficult to build emails that are readable on the desktop as well as on the mobile and therefore they just adjust the size of everything in the e-mail in relation to the display (which leads to terribly small text on smartphones)

@jlelse Ja, das stimmt. Hab neulich auch irgendwas von einer neuen Kooperation der Verkehrsverbünde gelesen.

Mein Heimatverkehrsverbund ist leider noch nicht in der DB App mit dabei und deren Onlineshop ist leider (um es mal freundlich auszudrücken) verbesserungswürdig. Naja, zumindest am Automat wird es dann wahrscheinlich funktionieren.

Webseite der Bahn kann kein Ticket verkaufen da dafür der regionale Verkehrsverbund zuständig ist, der regionale Verkehrsverbund kann kein Ticket verkaufen da die Strecke in einem anderen Verkehrsverbund endet, der andere Verkehrsverbund hat nicht einmal einen Onlineshop ... 😒

@aral I’m not familiar with how Linux development works and thus also don’t want to comment on how to approach this problem, but aesthetically this is a massive step backwards

@charlag Thanks. Yeah, some apps for mobile already support it. The thing I’m wondering about is whether there’s a web app (like Mastodons „official“ front-end or Pinafore) which I could use on my notebook. Sorry if I wasn’t clear enough about this in my first toot.
