Like 3 days of leave if a relative dies and then you’re just supposed to be over it and back at full operating capacity

One day to stay home sick and then you’re supposed to be better

No accommodations on deadlines taking a sick day means playing catch up at work

If you get vacation you’re pressured to use a certain amount of it so that you can’t accumulate it but if you take it you’re playing catch up

If you haven’t switched to duckduckgo yet what convinced me was when @amsomniac showed me the !bangcodes

Basically if you start a ddg search with something like !ebay or !wiktionary it searches that site directly after being anonymized through ddg’s server. So rather than have different search engines in my browser I select it’s just !w for Wikipedia or !translate for google translate

You can even do !g and do an anonymous untracked google search

Mastodon has the only "integrated" queer community I've ever been in; where people closer to the "lesbian" side of things and people closer to the "gay man" side of things not only freely interact, share space, and are friends; but people also freely move between those two sides/categories without controversy or it being a big deal.
