OK so fun fact the reason imperial units seems so weird when they jump from 3 feet to a yard then 1760 yards to a mile is cuz there's a bunch of obscure middle-units we don't use anymore.

3 feet is a yard
22 yards is a chain
10 chains is a furlong
8 furlongs is a mile
3 miles is a league

also why an acre is 43560 square feet. Actually meant to be 1 furlong x 1 chain (still weird!!)

i think thesis though is less about the choices of people who don't identify as trans but feel alienated from their assigned genders; but rather that all of us should be more accepting of this kind of fluidity. of people using varying pronouns or terms for themselves that don't line up with "transitioning in a direction." that accepting non-binaryness is also recognizing that almost being fluid with what we might call cis gay people

@Trev at some point i realized that trying to be authentic too hard was inauthentic to my genuine natural tendency to be inauthentic to some degree. Like being authentic was also associated with attributes that "authentic" people express so then in my attempts to be "authentic" i was just trying to be like other people who are "authentic" and ended up leaving behind genuine parts of myself that i just don't associate with the image of "authenticity" but which are actually authentic to my authentic self

i rly like the firefox screenshots feature i didn't think i would use it cuz i already have the windows Snipping Tool but the firefox one lets you screen cap an entire page even if it doesn't all fit on your screen and it auto-highlights by web element which is really cool
