@szbalint huh. Okay, might not be a good example, I have to look it up a bit more.
But either way, that shouldn't warrant *hate* I guess

whoa, nice, ren'py games in the browser!! That's great news for indie devs! https://blog.beuc.net/posts/RenPyWeb_-_Ren__39__Py_in_your_HTML5_web_browser/
@szbalint depends how you define medicare for all. if it means the govt subsidising private medical companies, or nationalizing healthcare. I don't see any dem nationalizing healthcare, because it's not a thing in liberal economies (and also because part of their funding come from there).
@szbalint eeh, I can't really agree there about other candidates being equally left leaning, honestly. And they all have their scandals.
Like I don't see anyone else really enacting medicare for all, for example.
(oh yeah definitely, if I could vote I wouldn't spit on any dem, but... yknow. If we could have a more left-leaning candidate I'd be happier)
me: "hey arin, create a route object for this prefix: A"
arin irr: "okay sure, here's your route object! by the way, I didn't have an inetnum for prefix A so I made a route object for prefix B"
hnnnnng what the fuck
@szbalint socdems are really common in europe, demsocs are a bit less common. I mean, I was there a month and a half ago, so.
But like, how can you consider his candidacy a bad thing if you know how the established parties are.
@sng eh. Not convinced that would work with real leftist policies.
@sng uh probably not in the near future, I'm still settling down honestly
@sng oh definitely, if I could vote I definitely wouldn't spit on the democrat candidate if sanders doesn't get nominated. But I'd be a lot happier if he were.
And yeah, they will very probably find a way to fuck it all up...
@sng I mean, there's no way anyone who's not in either the republicans or the democrats is gonna win, so it's a necessity to run with them... And I don't really see how running for their nomination while not being in the party is different from being in it? idk
I don't believe he could pull whoever he would campaign for to the left, honestly. The democrats are too bound to their financial sources and centrist/liberal policies imo
@melunaka ah ouais ok, je vois
I can't see how that could be confusing and cause interesting problems
problem: the 70% marginal tax proposed by AOC isn't popular in the US because of all the republican misinformation around it
solution: make it a 69% marginal tax. Only possible response is "nice" and that will help a lot with getting it accepted by the public
@Jo noooooo
oh noes games workshop is now making warhammer 40k funko pops nooooo
@lulucybrelu @Nocta @melunaka to be fair you have to have a very high IQ to understand mastodon options, and
@kurtm @pamela @moonspark can concur with all of these
