Hello Mastodon World! I just joined and I am finding my way in this thing!
My name is Debora. I'm a recently graduated Illustrator, animator and Experience designer from The Netherlands. Feel free to add me and ask me questions.
On the internet I can be found as FranciskaDebora.
I think that's it for introductions, can't wait to see what this place has to offer!
- attend TED talk - learn about something quite outrageous - get up and clap and shout because you're outraged and happy you learned about it and you think they did a good job at explaining it - feel smug, leave and never do anything about the issue
wow, just wanted to share that I have been struggling with disk space for months and I just used 'bleachbit' and it freed more than 5 gigs so go for it, wow
I am an agnostic #atheist#Humanist but NOT an anti-theist. Like really, if you believe in a deity, spirits, magic...I don't much care. We can disagree & that's OK. ❔
I am an #exchristian from a fundie-baptist background, so you may occasionally hear me speak from that perspective. 📖
@dogtrax thanks for reading and appreciating :) The small stories hashtag is great because it also makes me notice more of those lovely moments. Looking forward to noticing the next ones, and coming here to share.

How a half educated #tech elite delivered us into chaos. Key paragraph: "Put simply, what Google and Facebook have built is a pair of amazingly sophisticated, computer-driven engines for extracting users’ personal information and data trails, refining them for sale to advertisers in high-speed data-trading auctions that are entirely unregulated and opaque to everyone except the companies themselves." [and perhaps opaque to themselves] https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/nov/19/how-tech-leaders-delivered-us-into-evil-john-naughton
