in fact i don't think i ever actually worked out what mike oldfield song it samples because the samples are so sliced up, but you can just tell by listening to it that it's mike oldfield. no-one else has a guitar tone like that where its just an SG plugged into a neve desk and nothing else except maybe some weird box made by some hippie friend of steve hillage etc

@envgen id argue actually its the first song that knowingly brings back (back?? brings in??) the wall-of-sound vibe in a retro and nostalgic way, and is thus one of the first songs of the 1990s,,,
