My advice - don't change this budget (charge your original estimate). Their acceptance signals that this is a reasonable market price for this service, and, as a business owner, this is what you should be paid.

@ink_slinger Absolutely! If we were in the States, the equivalent statement would be something like "sorry, not sorry" - I appreciate the brevity.

My child has internalized the meaning of "sorry" to be what you say when you want/are doing something you know you shouldn't be.

"I want some ice cream for lunch, Daddy - I'm sorry, I want some ice cream."

@ink_slinger Exactly. I'm just a little bummed that now I have to care for a fragile record when I, you know, dont have a collection.

On a couple of previous albums, it was just downloads with "physical elements" like interactive art. It was honestly delightful, and I'd love to see more of that.

@ink_slinger They do - you get a DL link on the day of release and your choice of a few formats. Otherwise it would be 100% no bueno.

@vickylai I have a device which I love that has a foldable plug, USB charging ports (add your own cable), has a built-in power bank, and is black. As a bonus, it is also a wireless router, so you can set the hotel wired/wifi network to the device, then all of your stuff connects to the device (only have to configure once).

It's only 22W, though, and only works on 120V.

I like to have physical copies of music for reasons - mostly album art.

NIN store is only selling physical records, not CDs. Because Trent Reznor is a vinyl fetishist. Which is fine.

But I'm not. I would genuinely prefer it in CD format.

But I bought the record, because I love NIN, and I wanted the art.

TBQH, though, he could sell music on a wax cylinder and I'd still buy it.

Like, a piano roll would be in my shopping cart.
