So I don't suppose all those news and culture websites (I'm looking at you, Vox) are going to apologize for telling us how we all had to watch Roseanne's show because it was "bridging the gap" and helping us "understand our neighbors."

No one who knows anything about Roseanne Barr's history of racism and conspiracy nuttery should be at all surprised at what happened today. But at least now that awful show is off the air.

My back is in terrible, severe, excruciating pain. Kids, don't get old if you can avoid it.

I once knew a kid who got the worst tattoo of all time. A girl he loved kept things from him and they broke up. To mark his commitment to "truth" (which he mistook for "honesty") he picked an image of a Buddhist Dharma wheel that looked like a ship's steering wheel. He got it, 12 inches across, on his side. By an amateur tattoo artist with a kitchen ink gun. Moral of the story: think before you ink.
