Perhaps my best class yet today! People were asking questions, making contributions. Interesting stuff.

So here's one of the more horrifying things I've ever researched. Nearly 300 people have died climbing Mt. Everest, and almost all of them are still up there, bodies frozen solid and still laying around. Sad, tragic, haunting and thought-provoking. You cannot un-see "Green Boots." Ran out of steam on writing in the second half of the day. I hate it when weekend days go by without much productivity...

So I'm thinking about migrating to another instance. Dot at is fine, but the vast majority of my local timeline is in Spanish...will I lose touch with everybody if I go to another instance?

@ink_slinger Probably a good move. I've heard the funeral industry is a racket and mostly about sales. The predominant human emotion you would have encountered is not grief, but greed.

Recently re-watched "Cast Away." It is slowly climbing into the echelon of my all time favorite movies. For it to do that is unusual, my favorites list has been unchanged for many years now.

This week has gone so fast. So, so tired.

I love teaching history so much. My class today did not go 100% as planned, but it was still a pleasure to talk about the past and show people what I know. And to get paid for it!

My We the People Constitutional debate kids did awesome in competition this morning! They roll again in an hour. Hope they do as well!
