@freakazoid From what I understand, Sander's is the only candidate that pushes Medicare For All, while the other candidates want some hybrid between that and an industry that preys on people. He also supports her Green New Deal, which a lot of candidates are waffling on.

And Warren's background as a defense attorney for major corporations back in the day is a big red flag.

And when their 'preferred' candidate fucks up as we know they will, they *still* want to blame us like we didn't tell their dumb asses what was going to happen.

They say they want INCLUSION, but Steve King gets a past for being a WILD racist for decades, but freshmen reps gets censured for saying some true shit.

It's complete bullshit. They don't want diversity. They want compliance, and then blame us when shit doesn't change. It's non-sense.

I'm talking about the angst white people always carry for successful/visible POCs in American culture that have an idea or opinion that they don't agree with and come at them in the most disrespectful and hostile ways, but never do that with the people that are always causing problems.

There just this gear white people hit when it comes to POCs that they *never* hit when it comes to 'critiquing' themselves.

I want to see white people come at 🍊 with the same force and anger they came at O.J. or Bill Cosby.

I want to see white disgust with Roy Moore with the same energy the came at with R.Kelly.

I want to see white people investigate with the political opinions of actual policy makers like Ted Cruz, Mitch McConnell, Steven King, etc with the same anger and indignation they come at Lebron James or Serena Williams.

I want to see white people go at themselves like they're always going at us.

And you don't see white people attacking 🍊 or McConnell, or Cruz, or Moore with the same energy and effort. You just don't.

Yeah, they'll say all the right things at brunch because it's 'cool' to be PROGRESSIVE in white identified circles, but that's pretty much extent of it. You don't see white people going at the necks of old white men that are actually causing problems.

But you do see white folks *constantly* coming at POC perspectives that don't affect them at all.

Funny how that works

Regardless of whatever political affiliation white people profess, there is this general dislike of any POC that does not fit their limited view of what we should be that is always there and, ha, as we've seen in the many convos I've had with 'leftist' white people on here, doesn't take that much to reveal.

Passion is one thing, but often white people will straight up attack if our views don't align with their myopia.

We saw this w/ the 'Bernie Bros' in the last cycle, now w/ AOC.

If it's one thing that always becomes clear around national election time is the sheer *hate* white identified people have for POCs.

You never see the anger white people have thrown at LeBron James for his China comments or AOC for endorsing Sanders target white political figures like 🍊, Roy Moore, Mitch McConnell or any white politician that is actually passing policy that is fucking up their lives.

You see distaste, sure, but not the sheer kinetic hostility when it comes to POCs.

Sweet Pages and I went to go see Zombieland: Double Tap this weekend. Ha, I didn't like it as much as the first, but it was cute.

The cool part was that the other movie goers where into it, so it was a really fun experience.

@savanni The kids are pretty amped to get in there, so it seems likely.

I absolutely have my reservations as well. People seem to be a bit more activated around this election, which is fine, but we have to spend time trying to repair the damage of the past four years, which was completely avoidable.

This frustrates me to no end. White folks just can't stop touching the stove, bu want to blame everyone else for getting burned.
