@Strev Aw man, Baldur's Gate are classic and I was a HUGE Forgotten Realms fan back in the day. Months of my life when into those games and I loved every minute of it.

And I got up this morning to beat Tyranny. Absolutely loved that experience. It's text heavy, but I really like games that make the effort to tell as story.
I think I'm gonna play Pillars of Eternity or Torment: Tides of Numenera next. I'm on a big RPG kick right now.

@alice Zahira is one of my faves on the web. I love how uncompromising she is about the culture and women being treated as whole people. I think she's the future.

The colorism that she's fighting in Dominican/Latina culture is real. I saw it growing up and visiting my cousins. I'm thrilled to see Amara and Zahira speaking out about it.

@guerrillarain I hear you. For me it can go either way. I've had good relationships with people I expresses wanted to be with and folks that started as just being cool. I've had relationships go bad in both contexts as well.
I think what I'm discovering is that there is really no sure fire way to get what you want. It's just trying and exploring until you find it.

It's weird cause I'm not looking for friends per-say when I date, but if that's the outcome of an interaction, I'm totally cool with it.
I like being in relationships, so perhaps the tedium of not being in one is what ads to my annoyance when it comes to dating. I would prefer not to, but to get to where I want to be, it's a step I must go through.
I'm just spit-balling. Just having a lot of thoughts as I meet new people.
