When they aren't a threat to me and my family, then we can talk about compassion.

But I have no sympathy for people who can only express themselves with violence. That is a choice.

@calvin Kinda. I like Ghost a lot, but I've always just wanted to build my own framework for not only just me, but my client work.

I want to see if I can make full fledged system that's viable and maybe something for other folks to use.

@gerhildt It's funny that they don't even see it. But that's the thing about bigots. The insults the use are insights into how the feel about themselves. They're just externalizing internal self loathing.

@vfrmedia @bea Having been to England a few times, yeah, they are pretty similar. When I was in London those are the places I used to frequent. And the pubs. Man, the pubs were so comfortable I spent a lot of time in those as well.

Oh yeah, and if you do ever come to NYC, don't go to a bodega if it doesn't have a cat. Trust me on this one.

@ebeth Man, I so feel you about panicking and grabbing whatever. I've done that so many times. One that that helps is that I just take breath and actualize where I am and say it out loud. That centers me enough to where I can focus and do what I need to do.

LOL, but I completely understand when it gets to be too much and you just gotta get out. That was my life for awhile.

@naga The performance aspect is what always gets me. People that don't care about what folks think about them don't feel the need to broadcast it.

But that's how it goes when you deal with people who perform who they wish they were rather than be what they are.

@shoeberto I feel you. I find myself doing that from time to time as well. Like I'll be running out of food, but I have some ramen and half an apple left and try to make that last rather than getting off my ass and just go to the store.

You're right though. One day at a time. Some days it's not so bad and I don't even worry about, so I'm getting there.

@snoot Aye, that's pretty cool about the march though. It's hit or miss with those type of events, but I'm glad it was a positive experience.

Oh, big no on malls. Way too much going on for me. Maybe if I'm drunk cause that takes the edge off, but that's about it.

When I was in NYC, bodegas were perfect because I could get everything I needed and it was never that crowded. On the road, you gotta make some concessions.
