There's a thread on HN on programming initiative for women.

It is going in a predictable direction.

I thought it was uniquely HN problem, by now I can see this happening everywhere, it's just HN has more of 'well actually' people -- whenever there's an initiative for women to do anything, they show up and start making really bad arguments about how this is pointless for a completely unrelated reason.

This is all applies he'd run own mail server but he's using mailgun, which I believe is a third-party service.

Nothing makes me want to run my own instance more than libertarians who feel entitled to a 'well actually' argument.

@platypus At least youtube lets downloads of files -- not the originals, compressed ones, but that's something.

This makes me things about all the videos I uploaded and realize that I don't know how to archive videos -- do I just save final file, or all the raw footage, work files and final file and then run out of storage.

My opinion is that libertarian memes about AOC are offensively stupid; libredon.com is the source of said offensively stupid memes; therefore lebredon.com should be defederated.

I watched Shirkers -- everything about that movie is amazing.

I already did. The videos are really worth watching.

An interesting video critique of Adorkable Misogyny of Big Bang Theory.

The author makes really good points about how sexist male behaviour that is not stereotypical masculinity is normalized and never really addressed in the show.

For me, it feels strange how I completely missed that part when I was watching the show.
