@Jo I had to return memory that had 'lifetime' warranty.
The fine print said for 'reasonable lifetime' which is around 10 years depending on jurisdiction, which is fine.
This warranty sounds more hardcore.

@alex The one at the bottom is kind of cool.
@bgcarlisle This remids me a scene from bojack horsman:
Therapist: would you like validation?
Diane: your validation is useless to me now
*slams the door*
...
*Diane opens the door, comes back*
Diane: Oh, you mean parking validation, I would like that.
I'm sure there's meme of it somewhere, but I can't find it.
What the kids say these days -- pics or it didn't happen?
Inside of InfoLithium battery there's just some circuitry and two generic 18650 cells.
If you are comfortable opening the battery and replacing the cells inside, that would be the cheapest way to do it.

I'm tweaking spamassassin on my mail server, so I'm getting all messages 'marked' as spam but not yet deleted, this includes showing verbose content analysis rules.
I'm happy to report there's a rule called DEAR_SOMETHING that is worth 2.0 points (5.0 points required to mark message as spam).
2.0 DEAR_SOMETHING BODY: Contains 'Dear (something)'
@scruss
Yeah, it's a Sony, DRM is expected.
Apparently it's got regular 18650 on the inside. You can try pulling it apart and replacing cells.
The guy in this video does just that -- https://youtu.be/2wxHvg0Rjso?t=1m12s

I remember someone showing of Sony Mavica FD5 back when I was in high school, and ti was the coolest thing ever.
programming is like a detective novel where idk maybe google "body no head who is murderer" and see if stack overflow turns up any clues

Boeing 737 Max crashes.
Here's a preview: "If we in the 21st century still believe in human autonomy, then we need to put that value into the software that runs our world.”

I played a musical instrument when I was in school and found music theory utterly boring.
This episode of PBS Sound Field explains music theory behind James Brown and I can't get enough of it

There are 4 episodes out so far, all of them are amazing.
Also it is not possible to iterate over sets. Sets need to be converted to arrays with Array.from(setname)
I forget how good I have it when I code in python, until I had to write anything with Javascript.
Why does es6 has multiple looping operators for for-loop?
for( var x in y) { .. }
'in' operator is basically useless, as it returns index of array as string
'of' is the operator I want to use, it returns value, but I keep forgetting it exist
@Quinntessential mountain goats the band, or just regular mountain goats?
(I feel this distinction is important, because knowing the band I just find regular mountain goat screaming more cathartic)

TL;DR: That favorite excuse is Scale.
"Too big to fail" also means "too big to succeed". Too big to effectively manage the communities & conversations, manage the intercultural conflicts between differing community standards, etc., etc.
