When I married, one of the many, many things which helped me integrate into my bride's family was that her father was punctual to a fault.
He routinely counted backwards from an appointment, carefully adding time to the trip so as to handle traffic delays.
He even decided that his departure times would be something like 4:48 instead of 5:00, to give an extra cushion. He always said it with a big smile.
He always had a paperback book with him to handle the times he arrived earlier than expected.
"trendy"
That's the key word.
Tech that does its simple job well isn't trendy and regularly gets overlooked.
RSS isn't groundbreaking, but it serves its purpose just fine.
My Fediverse
Scrolling through the fediverse.
Or perhaps it is the reverse.
Watching the timelines flow.
Looking for someone I know.
A contact is often direct,
Though not with whom I expect.
Connecting beyond my own land
With others "out of band".
"Meet" and greet worlwide
Avoiding those too snide.
A network interconnected.
And friendships unexpected.
Thank you, authors.
There are too many books out there to read. I cannot keep up.
But I still want you to keep on producing them.
I love looking forward, again and again.
gnusocial
I don't mind, myself, but we in New England are bracing for another storm nicely timed to bury spring under even more snow.
Congratulations on your compleaños, amigo. Must be nice to have that extra spring in your step from the timing of it.
Wise ObiWan!
And so worldly.
For a word like this, pronounced six times a month around the world, I would say your suggestion is a reasonable one.

Hello, Is my "furry" chin the qualification which caused you to add me to your home timeline?
Hobbyist Photographer"" - Does that mean you do film and darkroom development?
Share your work, please.
Be safe.
Thanks for adding my toots to your stream. If they help to expand your views, that's great. If not, drop my account.
Wide and shallow defines my skill set.
Thanks for taking a moment to watch for my posts in the home stream.
Let them be useful or drop me at your discretion. Always follow for your own benefit.
I'll look forward to future interactions.
Your following me may just inspire me to again put some effort into your fabulous software.
I've been content (aka "lazy") with my use of Inkscape because I do have lousy hand control over lines I make.
Keep up the fabulous work on the tool, whether I use it or not.
I always recommend it.
Glad you are here!
When you play, do you concentrate on the notes, the order of them?
Does the music become automatic enough to be transportive for you, yourself?
Reminder: please keep an eye out for Mastodon newbies - e.g. on the introduction/introductions hashtags - and give them a fave/boost/friendly reply to welcome them. Thanks! 👍 #FriendlyFediverse

Tom trusted his credenza's strength enough that he put his 3D printer and office-quality laser printer on it.
