@Estrusflask ok, I thought about using mpv as pressing the s key saves a frame, ',' & '.' moves between frames and could write a lua script to autoupload them to here.

@ultimape The dreams of the future (including the dreams of life in space by artists of the USSR) was more optimistic.

@ultimape It's interesting that we are now getting this new push into space again while the mode of production hasn't changed, the expanse captures this style of future as being bleak yet amazing without trying to reach back into the past.

@ultimape I've been thinking of a bigger problem, we as a society don't dream of the future anymore. We are reviving old concepts of 80's escapist futurism rather than actual futurism that looks forward.

@bob How do you think the community would react to a FOSS developer violating users trust?

#Mozilla begrudgingly implements tracking protection by default, after being shamed into it yet again by Safari, the DuckDuckGo browser, and Gnome Web (just the ones I know who implemented it first) and talks a good talk while still having Google as its default search engine and continuing to get hundreds of millions from Google/Alphabet, Inc. β the largest surveillance capitalist in the world. (Mozilla Corp is ~entirely funded by surveillance capitalism.)
Hyprocrites.

Looking for examples/instances of non profit and mainly community owned internet services. Both connectivity as other services such as email, cloud, publication(micro/blog).
Would like to have or make an overview of what is there and how they work.
