    @karneol @inaktion Danke: So oder so werde ich bleiben. Ich war nur sehr frustriert heute. Erschwerend kommt derweil hinzu, dass wir offensichtlich in den föderierten Netzwerken wie andernorts auch Problemstellungen in Bezug auf Fähigkeit zum Diskurs zu haben scheinen und man deshalb manche Argumentation gleich dreimal wiederholt. Halb so tragisch im Nachhinein. :D Dennoch bleibt bei mir für den Moment ein Fragezeichen: Wenn ich es weder mit kurzen Meldungen noch mit 3000 Zeichen schaffe Leute zu erreichen, wird es wirklich schwierig. Selbst mit Quellnachweisen! :)

    @rugk Das diskutiere ich nunmehr zum dritten Mal. Insofern mache ich das nun wirklich knapp: Sofern eine Form von "Gegenpol" (Antithese) gewünscht ist, lohnt es mitnichten einfach nur bestehende Funktionen zu kopieren. Führt bereits jetzt nicht auf entsprechenden Plattformen wie #YouTube und / oder #Instagram zu einem authentischen Miteinander. "Influencer" sagt schon als Wortschöpfung alles Notwendige aus. Und bei Markierungen wie "Premium" oder "Upgrade" werde ich persönlich äußerst misstrauisch, da es sich dann um eine Form von Mehrklassengesellschaft beginnt zu handeln.

    @aslmx Thanks: Wow, that's really strange. Irritating because when setup an instance of #GNU-social you can choose what limit should be used on your installation. And the software is far older than #Mastodon. (o.O)

    @aslmx That's the point. Besides I have some questions about the "other developers to be asked". Exactly who? The people who had done a split up and changed some configurations (not directly a fork)? The other appliances here like #GNU-social or #Pleroma? But perhaps this could be cleared up.

    @electronicbunny @hay Hmm, I have no further personal problems with the developer. Besides I'm talking from an instance of GNU-social. But I see the whole development of the #Fediverse very critical for now. And this last issue is just another part of a bigger picture. No, don't saying there is any kind of agenda, but the tone is relative harsh and that's far away from diversity when somebody speaks out for more projects.

    @aslmx @hay That's the point and it seems so that not #Mastodon is part of the #Fediverse. Instead the #Fediverse is part of #Mastodon for now and the time being. So we are also talking about stop talking to #Friendica, #Hubzilla and others. Being some kind of sarcastic! ;-)

    @electronicbunny @hay Human interactions are not that simple and very hard in complexity. In the end every situation could end in other ways even under the same circumstances. But diversity is very much appreciated. Just saying that a post has to be 500 signs in maximum end up on the other side besides this was just a proposal for the interface, not for some more deep technical issue.

    @frank Gilt aber auch zu "beschützen". Ich bin beispielsweise immer noch erschrocken darüber wie schnell beiläufige Bemerkungen über "Extremisten" fallen, weil Leute mit #Pixelfed und dessen Entwicklung nicht einverstanden sind. Das ist einfach nicht richtig wie da pauschalisiert worden ist. Von daher wichtig darüber zu sprechen! :)

    @frank Tut es auch. Es wäre falsch von mir das Gegenteil nun zu behaupten. Damit würde ich all die lieben, empathischen Teilnehmer und Teilnehmerinnen gleichwohl missachten. Aber da könnte ich dir jetzt auch Geschichten über #Diaspora erzählen, wo ich ebenfalls ähnliche Beobachtungen gemacht habe. Der Start 2012 / 2013 war für mich toll. Im Laufe der Zeit wandelte sich aber der Umgang und gerade die Menschen mit Suche nach Austausch sind die Ersten, die dann die Stirn runzeln.

    @frank Da weiß ich ein Lied von zu singen. Aber genau dafür gibt es das Gespräch. Nur stelle ich mir manchmal die Frage, was dann die Begrifflichkeit "soziales Netzwerk" bringt wenn Leute nur sich selbst darstellen möchten - rhetorische Frage natürlich. Aber schön finde ich nun, dass ich auch einmal nachvollziehen kann woher manche Kritikpunkte kommen respektive gekommen sind, auch bezogen auf Mastodon.

    @toromino Stimmt auch wieder. Dennoch nutze ich das einmal, um mir #Hubzilla anzuschauen. Deswegen werde ich ganz bestimmt nicht aus den dezentralen Netzwerken verschwinden. :D Dazu mag ich den Austausch zu sehr und für alle Anderen bin ich dann die Nervensäge.
