@rnitsch @nipos @freemo Did you really generalize like "in turkish families it's also common"? You think that's the correct way? Using some statistics for generalizations and prejudices? Better to give examples within a positive way. That's also the problem people with turkish origins don't feel accepted: Because of this generalizations.

@rnitsch @nipos @freemo Stop a moment: You're guessing yourself. When you want to protect the children you should also question the western culture itself. Our complete society is just build on the logic that every "human has some kind of value to offer". In fact: Every life has limitless value and to be protected. There is no point in guess your intention. And there are other ways being conservative for example instead choosing a political party full with racism and provocation.
I blame violence, but there are many forms of violence. So first things first: Recognize them and don't blame a complete culture. That's just wrong!

@homer77 Sind gerade dabei. Der Diskurs geht schon einige Zeit! @freemo @rnitsch

@rnitsch @nipos @freemo Nice game, there is as always no further context needed for Alice Weidel. She is just instrumentalizing, but perhaps you want to have a look on her profile on #Twitter by yourself?
-
@nipos @freemo @rnitsch That's the point: Stretching out the possibilities what can be said. Afterwards you could go back, trying to proclaim that this was just a mistake or an exaggeration. But in fact this is done with immanent system all-time. That's also part of your blog-post as you've said that foreign workers were not treated at best because there was no further expectation they are staying longer.
-
@freemo @nipos @rnitsch Okay? Alice Weidel named Syrian and Afghan complete as "Stone Age culture", just as an example for shortened messages. As everybody from this country has the same understatement.
-
@rnitsch @nipos @freemo Did you called BjΓΆrn HΓΆcke as idiot? Okay, interesting. :) But examples are everywhere to be read. And when noticing: The complete governing body is just presenting simple solutions for complex problems: Alice Weidel with her pictures to be noted on #Twitter, Alexander Gauland, JΓΆrg Meuthen and Beatrix von Storch. But this tends to go another way, just like a stage show for racism.

@rnitsch @nipos @freemo Sorry only a german sourrce: https://gnusocial.federated-networks.org/url/13861
-
@rnitsch @nipos @freemo You know what Mr. Scholl-Latour also meant with this? Supporting those countries, supporting the people. And this is not done with global rejection. In fact we let the people die on the ocean for now because they are left without hope. And PEGIDA, better participants are crying ""Drown them, drown them!". Well, in my world this has nothing to do with human ideas.
-
@nipos @freemo @rnitsch To be more clear about the position: You claim the "dialogue" as good way of communication. But you also blame ethnic groups, talk about "open borders" as a wrong concept (within a globalized world) and go on with relativizations regarding the positions of the AfD. When you don't want to be called "Nazi" for example you should stop using the wordings. The party AfD is just separating between "GOOD" and "EVIL". That's exactly the same way the "Nazis" did once: Proclaiming that ethnic, political and cultural groups are responsible for social problems. The concept has already a name: "Divide and Conquer". When talking about just accepting "highly approved people" from other countries you are also separating the "rest" as "not-approved". Why? Wrong education? Wrong religion? Giving the people hope and they tend giving more back. Giving the people just rejection or acceptance under some circumstances is also repression!
-
@rnitsch @nipos @freemo There is no destruction and there are enough evidences. Those catastrophes are just instrumentalized, just created. Let me just take the events from the weekend in Chemnitz: Instead of thinking about the mean reasons there are big amount of real hate-mongers flooding the networks with constructed emotions.
-
@rnitsch @nipos @freemo Where is your invitation? I had just reacted and now we are talking. Good one! But do you think some people from other political sides enter your blog and start a dialogue? Sorry, this will not happen. Therefore a tipp: Just reading through some groups with hate-mongering in the name of the AfD. Or perhaps having some more interesting views on Mr. BjΓΆrn HΓΆcke for example? Instead throwing this person out nothing exactly happened and yes: He had a talking about the "cult of guilt" or better "cult of shame"!
-
@rnitsch @nipos @freemo That's no further solution and you know this. We are within a global economy. So there won't be any stop-signal. We cannot walk into other countries, try on with "cherry-picking" (you named it as "highly educated people") and go on with our own regards. That's the generalized malfunction and besides the full neoliberal reduction of people.
-
@rnitsch @nipos @freemo And that's her own decision. So what's next? Publishing an article on your blog? For what audience? That's my problem: There is no dialogue and you can't enforce this.
-
@rnitsch @nipos @freemo And you don't think that this can be solved the other way around instead confronting everyone from Turkey?
-
@nipos @freemo @rnitsch By the way: As I've already said ... you could address Katharina here within the #Fediverse. She is here and you could ask here also for a dialogue. Here token is "kattascha@chaos.social". Try it and do what we already are doing here. That's part of the "self-reflection". I don't claim to be completely free from any wrong assumption, but my central question is: Why the AfD? A german party full with racism, as a matter of fact. There is no correction to the "national side" backwards as you've noted in your blog-post. It's just that real Nazi's want their views back in the political everyday life! Do you get the problems walking behind the party, behind social movements like PEGIDA? For people outside Germany: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pegida
-
@rnitsch @nipos @freemo One proposal: Please stop using some studies. You'll find for everything studies. It's about the people and asking them for their background, their stories. There is everything to be approved by some kind of study and that's the problem. Searching for being approved within the own single point of view. As you've noted: I don't claim any further link here for now, just reading and reacting with my personal experiences. And yes: I have colleagues from different countries all over the world. Everyone notes the same: Our way of integration is not correct. We cannot define some "leading culture" and think everything else is left within the background. Being curious about our personal neighbor, the people within our neighborhood and their way of life so we could get to a multicultural society. When condemning some cultural background we're just challenging and even insulting people.
-
@rnitsch @inaktion @nipos @freemo Hmm, but it is a matter of fact that some parts of the German society - the AfD is part of this movement - blame people from other countries and therefore condemn every migrant. Besides you are using this within a sentence below: "On the other hand, it does not disprove that migrants are indeed more criminal than Germans, on average. Obviously." There is no part of disproving as I've mentioned the counterpart: I had enough harassment from native Germans in my youth for just being chronically ill (Diabetic). But I don't state anything about it, just this: Every human being has a light and a dark side. It's an individual decision which part is more relevant and therefore we have ONE good element named "self-reflection".
-
@freemo @nipos @rnitsch That's the problem: People think here about some "self-accusation" when remembered about the past and the history. They call it "Schuldkult" (cult of guilt) as it demonstrates also the unwilling position for self-reflection of some parts of society in general. :(
