reMarkable is a nice concept but I'd have to have the price down to about $300 because it's just NOT worth it considering it's just a fuckin' notepad.
$749 is just bonkers.

I guess I'm too old school where we actually tried to solve the underlying issue instead of bringing production services down.
I really hate this "brogrammer" culture.

Hi all,
Eleven is a music player for Android that is available via F-Droid. The maintainer of the repo for the F-Droid version is looking for someone to claim it.
The player is a no-frills local music player solution that still has lots of room to grow.
Use this thread to claim it: https://gitlab.com/ymber/Eleven/issues/12#note_63740457
When you document a procedure, especially in the field, make sure to include screenshots for the sake of posterity.
As a network administrator, you may eventually move into a position where you're delegating duties and various networking tasks.
If you can take your manual and tell your subordinate 'go to x section and follow this on y server' and they can follow that manual without coming back to you even once, you know you've done a good job documentation.
@dpreacher :shrug:
@Liberapay How did you add the message description?
@dpreacher You can still HMU on Discord, Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook :)
@dpreacher Nah, reinstalled stuff a long time ago and just never put it back on
Keep in mind that you risk being blocked by other instances
Here is a guide I made on how to change the character count on your Mastodon instance, I'm not the best at writing so feel free to tidy it up to make it more readable. https://github.com/Mike-Cole/nulled.red-meta/blob/master/change-character-count.md
@SarcasmKid Story of my life

I suspect that while I was screwing around inside the PC Case that somehow an over voltage was sent through the NIC, and that tripped the router's switch. OR, because I was turning the computer on and off, I'm router detected a flapping interface and shut down the switch, although that seems less likely

This was after spending 3 hours installing and reinstalling the driver and rebooting my PC, an hour trying to install the driver for the wireless adapter to find the provided one is the wrong one and then another hour and a half reinstalling Windows completely just to realize that the problem still persisted!!
I just had to reboot the fucking home router.
IT'S ALWAYS A FUCKING HARDWARE ISSUE! I just reinstalled Windows and it was ALL BECAUSE THE SWITCH IN THE HOME ROUTER WENT INTO AN ERR-DISABLED STATE
Final verdict: Something's wrong with the LAN port on the home router.
Gonna check Wireshark. Maybe I can get a clue from there.
Perhaps the router's interface was has decided to block the machine? I don't know what's real anymore
