And it's going to seem really weird at first. Finding new people is hard, and having access to local / federated timelines is something that Twitter hasn't had in a while. Remember when Twitter had "The firehose?" That hasn't been a thing since Identi.ca walked the Earth.

It's going to take some getting used to. Twitter stripped enough away from the experience where folks didn't have to think anymore.

We need to be patient with ourselves and others.

Make sure to stick around for a while. It isn't like other sites, so your experience will be way different.

But I promise with time it will be better.

That's the hard part about subscription services vs. advertising: advertising pays stupid amounts of money to market to you in the hopes you'll buy shit.

Modern systems architecture sounds a lot less sexy when you replace terms like "containers" and "serverless" with "kicking the can down the stack to make maintaining this shit someone else's problem".

I love Seal, but naming no less than three albums "Seal" gets the Peter Gabriel award of really messing with my music library.

If you're not using it, give it a try! Save as many copies as you need. :)

The updates:
1) Added spots for traits, bonds, etc. Can't believe I forgot them before. :/
2) You no longer have to toggle your shield on the Under the Hood tab. Instead, both AC values (with/without shield) are displayed on the front page.
