@MIDDLEoftheroad2018 I already did. Kept the stiff upper lip too.
Thanks!

Tonight I finally watched "Everyday Sunshine", the story of the band Fishbone. Honestly it's a complete shame that this band is still laboring in relative obscurity. They're the real deal.
Fortunately you can (re)acquaint yourself with their music on Bandcamp:
(Though it appears you'll have to still find physical media for all of their Columbia releases. Seems Sony still has sticky fingers for a band they dropped in 1994.)

@angristan @deejoe There is another used that has complained about #tootstream streaming so I'm interested in seeing if this is a server issue or something with Mastodon.py. Strangely the only streaming issues I've seen on the three instances I've tried have been on mstdn.io.
Because you are classified as male you must be interested in the following:
* Local and national sports
* Automobiles
* Souped up gaming rigs
* XBox
* The latest game where you portray a sociopath
* That thing on TV that is hyper-violent
* Barbecue
* College sport
* Marvel Cinematic Universe and spoilers
* Star Wars cinematic universe and spoilers
Wow, linking to a Youtube video on Mastodon will bring up the Google Trackers / Doubleclick ads in the preview window.
Be careful out there folks.
@djsundog @ajroach42 You literally could not have expanded that TI 99/4a too much:

Anyone looking for talented HR folks in the St. Louis area? I have someone who is looking in that area and would love to meet you.
I think this is the first time I've ever heard someone rapping about climbing:
I'm on a Rope
from Tape.CLIMB.PerfectRepeat. (S-Side) by Devin Dabney (HHLH)
Things I really hate:
GenX folks getting all bent out of shape about "millennials always being on their phones".
Shit, if I could have figured out a way to cart my Atari 400 everywhere so I could fool around with it in public you're damned right I would have been on that computer all day.
@lmorchard Happy Awoo Year to You Awoo
@seanl I see ARM catching up faster than Power9. If anything cheaper hardware in bulk seems to outpace more expensive cumptuing.
@CobaltVelvet and by drain I mean creation.
damn phone.
@CobaltVelvet the issue drain is a little confusing. they don't label priority and severity and they both start out as normal.
also tag creation is a bit weird.
@CobaltVelvet Heh. Taiga is pretty nice but the interface is really "web 2.0" in the best and worst versions of that term.
@CobaltVelvet Yeah, that's sadly an area that I have little experience with.All of my experience is with ticket tracking / project tracking.
Wishing you better success with this.
@CobaltVelvet Nice thing about Taiga it is also Django-based but I'm not sure if it's "drop into a Django project" Django-based.
@CobaltVelvet Yeah, but zendesk always felt more like a "Hey, I have this problem as well" way of managing things.
One that I used was "Redmine" but that was Ruby. What made that nice was it had a bit of worlflow to it and allowed issue privacy. Also you could have multiple projects.
Downside was it was Ruby and we were mostly Python.
There's also Taiga, but that's more for project-based work. It literally asks whether you want a Scrum or Kanban-style project.
@CobaltVelvet But you would like some privacy for certain issues?
