if you had told college-aged me that I would be working on machines that surpassed the Sun pizza-boxen that we had in our college lab I'm not sure i would have believed you.
If you had told college-aged me that I would have a collection of programming languages available to me for free on said machines my mind would have boggled.
But that's what I have now. I have the workstation that I always dreamed I would have in my "dorm room".

The #apparmor for #wordpress on #apache webserver was a moderate success.
It is in complain mode and I need to do more tests like upload an image but it is reasonably simple to setup.
I think I'll lock off theme and plugin updates by default and switch them on when needed.
What is a worry is the non WordPress WSGI stuff just works with no rules. I'm not sure why.

It has been discovered that Tootdon silently forwards copies of posts you interact as well as the auth token to your account to its to own servers.

We've discovered an issue in 2.3.2 that, in rare cases, allowed users to create accounts with the same username as existing accounts. If you have already upgraded to v2.3.2, it is recommended to upgrade to v2.3.3 as soon as possible.
v2.3.3 is a small patch and requires no extra steps, only getting the new code and restarting Mastodon.
A new rake task is included to troubleshoot/clean-up.

Unlike mastodon you can reliably use SRV #DNS records so the #xmpp server doesn't need to be on the same host, which for me is great
