@Elizafox it's where someone else shoots me.
So basically looks the same as me playing FPS because I am terrible at them.
Third person shooter is where some randos shoot me too.

RT @scott_bot@twitter.com: Well this is surreal. I'm reading an article on social network analysis that calculates someone's morale based on the "likes" they received.
The catch is, it was written in 1939.

You wanna see the coolest thing? Since e-ink displays don't require power except when they change, old parts bins full of used e-ink screens are little snapshots of history, as each display is still showing the last thing it ever showed. -

I have just uploaded the next major version of the #ncurses library to the Debian ftp master.
These are going into experimental, so if you can I'd appreciate you trying them out.
These new libraries have the version 6 ABI but they will work ok with version 5 (e.g. your current stuff)

Whatβs the deal with the fediplay tag. Is it used by https://github.com/zigg/fediplay ?
And are people using that ^^ ?Or is it just sorta equivalent to the np and nowplaying tags?

One neat thing I noticed about writing e2e tests: it kind of forces you to get a11y right. If something isn't observable for your tests, it probably isn't observable to an AT.

I imported my old (and otherwise unavailable) Kuro5hin diary entries from ~15 years ago into my Wordpress blog. I also shared the code I used if you want to do the same. https://mako.cc/copyrighteous/my-kuro5hin-diary-entries

The exchange rate is 1 bird in hand = 2 birds in bush
so you think, 2 birds in hand = 4 in bush.
So you pick up a second bird and the value of your portfolio increases...but then, as you attempt to balance 32 birds on your shoulders, you realize the exchange rate has reversed
and you would rather watch a flock of 16 in the bush than be covered in birds
