@ayy Lel. I thought it might have to do with her cleavage. It is a sensitive area to many women while others don't mind showing it off. I don't know if I would censor it when the woman is fine with showing it off... but it's not something I want to be showing off personally. ;;
-
@ayy Wut? Was she showing cleavage or is this fake?
-
Eating at the table in a conservatory on a lovely day, being able to watch the birds in your well-tended to garden through the glass.
-
@nerthos I can only imagine why!
-
@nerthos I feel bad for brazil having to put up with them!
-
@nerthos I guess those are the ones to watch out for instead then. xD
-
Aw man... we didn't have a gym in my secondary school.
-
@nerthos I guess not... but it is an interesting coupling considering possible beliefs.
-
When you have a catholic school that is 'a specialist science college'... ummm...
-
@rice @nerthos Right now, I have no savings to my name. ;; At least, that I know of. Will eventually need to get a loan to buy a house and pay things off slowly.
-
@rice @nerthos Hmm... I'm not sure. Especially since I wouldn't have this sort of money upfront anyway. It would take years and years!
-
Imagine being able to have dinner at the table by the fireplace.
-
@nerthos Aha... I don't think I'm up for doing all that work! :')
-
A 3 bedroom house is closer to £300,000... and 4 bedrooms can be up to £500,000... depending on the location and house I guess.
-
Tfw you need at least £200,000 to buy a one bedroom house. Crazy.
-
@ayy @rice It's funny because I don't recall such a stressful feeling about this. Maybe I wasn't aware enough, or something changed from then. Or I just don't remember. It would have been more expected too. For a short time, I used to spend a lot of time over another girl's house. She had a nice garden and games console.
That is a possibility. It doesn't help that I have social anxiety. Everybody scares me!
-
@rice Oops. I changed the "I don't like it when people come over." sentence. I meant that unless they are familiar like family or friends, then I don't like it when they come over. I can tolerate people I know better, especially if there is trust between us. I may even want them to come over but that doesn't happen a lot!
-
@rice Hmm. I know I'm very protective of myself and all sorts seem to threaten my feeling of safety and security. As you say, it extends to my personal space. I don't want just anyone around... I have to really be able to trust them. If I'm familiar with people such as family, then it can be annoying because I have to adjust for the unexpected but otherwise I'm okay. I don't like it when people come over. I'd rather be left alone. It takes a lot out of me. Even worse when strangers come in to fix things or whatever... I literally don't trust them. :')
Speaking of social anxiety... what did you do about that to lessen its impact?
-
Right... time to get prepared. I'll be about later. Talk then, fedi.
-
@rice Hi. I mean in general. I suppose that I should ask whether you have an issue when people turn up at your door... whether it be a friend or stranger. But particularly people that turn up uninvited, or unexpectedly... or unwelcomed. I don't know if I can make the context any clearer. I just know that my nerves are through the roof when this happens.
