@ducksquared Heh. It's probably higher than I would like it to be.
-
My agreeable level is probably quite high.
-
I still have so many things to do... rip me.
-
Cooking is much more fun when it is something that excites you to experiment with, it's a favourite meal, you are cooking for and/or with someone you like/love.
-
I don't think I want Meghan Trainor's version of being treated like a lady according to her Dear Future Husband song. Can't even cook but expects all the pampering... weeew.
-
How do I get rid of the after taste/smell of gone off cofe? Because I breathed it in, it also feels like it effects my tongue and throat so it is like tasting it. ;-; Now I don't want to eat but I need to soon...
-
I hope the stuff on the line dries quickly but I won't hold my breath for it. It's quite windy today. Plus the shade won't help that is coming soon if not already.
-
Gone off cofe. Just no. Don't do that. It reeks.
-
@clacke @sarcasmkid @kurisu Now I look forward to becoming a wife!

"In his 1891 work History of Circumcision, physician Peter Charles Remondino suggested that it began as a less severe form of emasculating a captured enemy: penectomy or castration would likely have been fatal, while some form of circumcision would permanently mark the defeated yet leave him alive to serve as a slave." Ouch.
-
"The WHO estimated in 2007 that 664,500,000 males aged 15 and over were circumcised (30–33% global prevalence), almost 70% of whom were Muslim. Circumcision is most common in the Muslim world, Israel, South Korea, the United States and parts of Southeast Asia and Africa. It is relatively rare in Europe, Latin America, parts of Southern Africa and Oceania and most of Asia. Prevalence is near-universal in the Middle East and Central Asia."
-
"Behavioral effects have been observed following infant circumcision including changes in sleep patterns, irritability, changes in feeding, and parental bonding. Some men who were circumcised as an infant involuntarily described their feelings about the procedure using the terms "violation, torture, mutilation and sexual assault"." I'd say this is enough reason to not carry this practice out.
-
@thatbrickster Aha... I guess I am fortunate here!
-
@bigmike919 @dwmatiz @lain @roko @thatbrickster @detectivehyde @empress @igeljaeger Well... I mean all forms of circumcision. There is more than that involved in some cases... especially for females it seems. Very brutal for women...
-
@bigmike919 @dwmatiz @lain @roko @detectivehyde @empress @igeljaeger It should be flat-out banned to minors. Culture or religion are not things to hide behind when you are dealing with harming babies/children. If they want it done, then they can decide for themselves as adults but it shouldn't be done for them. But how to legislate is a difficult one... they will not like it, and people will need to be better educated in order to make a fully informed decision about the practice.
-
@thatbrickster This is a dealbreaker to me, tbh.
-
@bigmike919 @dwmatiz @lain @roko @detectivehyde @empress @igeljaeger Yeah... babies can't say no to it. They have to rely on their parents.
-
If I trusted the "professionals", I'd probably still be wasting money on drugging myself up with antidepressants that don't work. Wondering when I can finally get off them. Might get that relapse if it is done in the winter time... but it takes a while to taper off it. Months even, and by the time I reached that point, it might be winter time again... oops, can't stop taking them!
-
@igeljaeger @dwmatiz @lain @roko @detectivehyde @bigmike919 @empress Not always. You can be detained if you are deemed a threat to yourself or others, and they can drug you up or restrain you.
-
@roko @thatbrickster It seems that way to me too.
I wish I lived in a country that recognised this but they make it more difficult here. Also, I would hope that I'd get protection should anyone try to violate my rights by the people closest to me. Just as I'd hope to do for them. More so needed during pregnancy.
