My favourite plugin for Tiny Tiny RSS must be the one that automatically fetches the complete news article for me, so I don't have to open every article in my web browser to be able to read it.

Most sites is full of ads, trackers, bloated JavaScripts and on top of that almost all use unreadable fonts. It's so nice to be able to avoid all that.

I did a few #benchmarks to figure out which is the top performing web browser in #Linux.

After requesting the input from #LinuxRocks, these were the 5 browsers I decided were representative enough to include in the test:

    #Chrome
    #Falkon
    #Firefox
    #Opera
    #qutebrowser (WebEngine)

Thank you all for the suggestions, next time I should also include smaller ones. Thank you @kelbot for letting me know about Falkon. I'm sure @hund will enjoy the final winner:

@eladhen You could host it on a Raspberry Pi or something. And if you want to play with it in a safe environment you can setup like a Ubuntu server in VirtualBox. :)

@joseph @mike @timapple FOSS, self-hosted, third party clients (Like Liferea and Newsboat), official Androidd client on F-Droid, 2FA, filters and rules with regex, themes for web and support for plugins (how about letting the server fetch the whole article for you automatically so you don't need to open it in your web browser).

It has a lot of features, but it doesn't feel bloated. :)

@mike @timapple Feedly? Isn't that a centralized proprietary cloud service with no options for third party clients?

You should really consider looking at the self-hosted FOSS alternative Tiny Tiny RSS.

@kmj If you have to you can download applications from the Play Store via Yalp Store. You don't need your Google-account for it.

Ad Blocker Ghostery Celebrates GDPR Day by Revealing Hundreds of User Email Addresses
      from Gizmodo
Ad-blocking tool Ghostery suffered from a pretty impressive, self-inflicted screwup Friday when the privacy-minded company accidentally CCed hundreds of its users in an email, revealing their addresses to all recipients.
